ESB International at WETEX and Dubai Solar Show

ESB International will be exhibiting at WETEX (Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition) and Dubai Solar Show. The exhibition will take place from the 5th to the 7th of October, and the ESB International stand will be part of the Enterprise Ireland organised Irish Pavilion.

The exhibition aims to achieve integration between all sectors of the energy industry and bring together trade and technical sectors whilst facilitating the creation of new trade opportunities, enhancing an exchange of ideas and experiences and showcasing the latest innovations.

About Brendan Stafford

Mr Brendan Stafford has been based in Bahrain for more than 12 years, with over 22 years of experience with ESB International. Brendan has managed many multi-million Dollar contracts for electricity supply to large Government Authorities, Heavy Industry and Private Developers.

Brendan's background is in electricity transmission & distribution and with his dedication and passion for the power business, he forms a strong bond of understanding and loyalty with clients.

Brendan believes that ESB Internationals expertise as the engineering consultancy of the Irish energy utility ESB, which is undertaking its own low carbon journey in Ireland, lends itself perfectly to further collaboration and knowledge sharing in the region.

About Dr John Rafferty

Dr John Rafferty is a Clean Energy Technology and Energy Efficiency Consultant with extensive experience in the energy industry, including roles in international consultancy, project delivery, R&D and strategic policy development for ESB Group, Ireland's largest electricity utility. 

Much like Ireland, Oman and the GCC members are seeking to move further towards the utilisation of clean energy solutions. Before his current role, John provided specialist energy services to enable both the Commercial and Industrial business area and the wider ESB Group to realise opportunities in areas such as: delivering increased renewable generation, improving energy efficiency and supporting decarbonisation.
