ESB International were exhibitors at the Oman Energy & Water Exhibition & Conference in Muscat from the 21st to the 24th April.
The conference is Oman’s biggest annual event for the energy and water sector, and exhibitors and visitors were comprised of 160 local and international companies from 15 countries — including Ireland, Czech Republic, France, Germany, India, Iran, Italy, Netherlands, Oman, South Korea, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the USA.
ESB International has been operating in Oman for over 20 years and the conference was identified as a strategic opportunity to further build brand presence and reputation within the region as well as provide an occasion to build relationships with current and potential clients, stakeholders and partners.
The conference was officially opened on the 21st April by His Highness Sayyid Kamil bin Fahad bin Mahmood Al Said, Assistant Secretary General for Cabinet Affairs of the Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The event itself was segmented into Oman Power, Oman Water and Oman Solar Forum with over 40 speakers presenting insights, best practices, issues, solutions and case studies.
The conference was organised against a backdrop of massive current and planned power, water and wastewater projects along with the Omani government’s major shift to renewable energy and intention to further tap into the full potential of Oman’s solar and wind resources.
