The Volta River Authority (VRA) of Ghana selected ESB International as the preferred operations and maintenance contractor, chosen mainly for proven emphasis on implementing a knowledge transfer process for local staff.

    To successfully establish the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) function to operate and maintain the first combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plant in sub-Saharan Africa.

    To develop and empower local staff through knowledge transfer, enabling local teams to take over the plant's full running.
